Pros

Great opening and closing single handed. Smittybilt is easy to deal with and this tire carrier is good looking to boot. Does everything a spare tire carrier should!

The tire carrier works great with the smittybilt gen 2 bumper. Installed on my 2018 rubicon recon.

Cons

The bumper is solid, but the tire carrier is terrible. As a result of this tire carrier my tailgate is now damaged, there are fatigued and cracked welds inside the tailgate that now make lots of rattling noise. Mine also bounces about 3/4 at all times... Read More

A real pain to install, most difficult was getting the carrier, bumper, and frame to align, once that was done, assembly was pretty easy.

Price

For the price point this bumper was reviewed best overall.

Purchased on amazon because i saved over $100 compared to other sites.

Shipping

Being that it's heavy it doesn't ship well so inspect the package when it arrives.

My tire carrier was damaged during transit with ups.

The company got back to me right away, apologized, and sent a replacement before the damaged one even got back to them.

Packaging/appearance

The only person that even comes close to matching your incompetence is the one-eyed freak in charge of packaging.
