Quality
This product works great and looks cool.
I like the overall quality of the winch.
The picture does show a wireless remote but mine only came with the wired one.
I initially went with the steel cable because it was cheaper.
Price
I have always had warn winches, but the cost is insane.
Smittybilt is a known quality name, so i took a chance and got it.
Packaging/appearance
Love this winch, works great and fits nicely in the smittybilt xrc gen 2 bumper.
Had this thing bolted down and wires run to battery in less than 30 minutes from time of removing from packaging.
Most of that was trying to get the the control box mounted over the drum.
Competitiveness
I have a quadratec qrc front bumper for my 2016 jk.
Have not used it to pull anybody's rig or get myself out of a situation.
Can't beat the price overall, i pulled out a jku from mud up to his bumpers.

I had a problem when i first installed it it would not work only click

When i tightened them they were touching despite the insulated sleeve it was able to jump to the ground causing it to short out

The bolts were wrong size for mounting and incorrect in directions
