This strap has been sliced halfway through in some places and still works flawlessly. Well made, showing no signs of fray or deterioration. Good quality.

Worked great. Should be fine. This strap is well worth the money.

Cons

Stored elastic energy is dangerous and unwanted when winching. A strap like this should be labeled very specifically with regard to working weight, breaking strength, and elasticity.

Smittybilt left it up to the chinese to write the label without so much as a proofreading. Buyer beware. Terrible quality tow strap.

It should only be used to tow vehicles, not to extend a winch line, not as a tree saver. Recover straps are just for towing. The smittybilt cc220 strap frayed after first use.
