Pros

The console is long, but fits good in my '82 cj7. My kenwood fit in perfectly and there is lots of space for the wires to feed up thru the bottom. Fit my 95 yj perfect, good solid console, especially for the price. Installed into 1979 jeep cj-5.

Easy to mount. Only complaint is that the mounting holes didn't line up with the strut holes. More on that later. One of the short bolts.

I like the console but the factory instillation instructions are a joke. Good news is that if you look at my pictures you'll see that the cupholder assembly is removable.

The console is heavy, seems well built, and the lock has a pry guard for added security. Good old fashioned key type tumbler lock.

Cons

Ink is faded and the pictures are too dark. The paint has visible flaws. Thank you amazon, for a trouble free return and refund.

It is what it is but over all i’m very happy with the quality.

Right up there with the units that cost double and triple what this was.

A nice touch but not heavy duty enough if you are rough with the console like me.

Well worth the price, shipping was fast too.

Packaging/appearance

This one is twice the price as the plastic ones i have broken in the past so that was money tossed down the drain.

Competitiveness

Barely fits between smittybilt seats on stock brackets but enjoy the hell out of it .

Neither the tuffy nor smittybilt consoles are made to custom fit.

I prefer the simplicity of the older tuffy design smittybilt used.
