The main difficulty is that once filled with eggs it is a bit difficult to remove the white trays full of eggs from the plastic containers

There are places to put ones fingers to remove the trays but it still isnt very easy to do

Only drawback while the latches connecting the two egg holders are easypeasy to snap together the latches on the lid can be difficult to align
