I like the glass bottom to keep food from touching plastic in the microwave though the glass is a bit heaver than plastic

My wife said the plastic had to go too much trouble heating up food as the food is not recommended to be heated in the microwave in plastic

We bought these to add to the set we bought at costco 2 years ago and we cant tell the old from the new thats how well they hold up to being run through the dishwasher at least once a week
