They consider the lids as a separate piece which doesn’t make any sense unless you want to deceive people to buy your product. Other products in amazon are cheaper, bigger and apparently best quality judging by the reviews. It’s a disappointing buy.

I've had a set of these for many years, using them constantly, and finally one tab broke off of one lid, and that was my own fault!

They are dishwasher safe (i wash even the lids on the bottom rack of my dishwasher).

Can't speak for everyone else, but mine arrived with 5 containers and 5 lids, as advertised.
