Pros & Cons
Pros
Sockwell is an rn working 12 hr shifts on med-surge. Use the sock for a swollen ankle due to osteoarthritis in the ankle joint. The small fits perfectly with a tiny bit of toe room to spare.
Sockwell are the best you get get, imo. The compression is awesome! This is a no brainer purchase.
They're durable and breathable. Warm enough for winter and airy enough for summer indoors. They are a little chubby--but that should not make a difference.
I'm on the thick side and always hesitant to buy clothing articles online, but i already knew this brand fit well. I wish they were just a bit looser on the cuff and still not slide down.
Cons
This was advertised as a 20-30mmhg sock. They too wear out in a few months, like most compression stockings, but are only $6. Most importantly though, they are cheaply made.
Sockwell are too tight for my size 12 womens foot. Some look like they go all the way to the knee. And my legs aren't chubby. Causes a bit of problem with my circulation when i am sitting.
Highlights
Quality
I felt they were reasonably priced and the quality was excellent.
I notice that the quality has improved from some of my older pairs.
: )purchased several pairs with the same bogus promise.
Shipping
Shipping was quick, the socks are warm, soft and fit great (see photo).
Packaging/appearance
It doesn't quite come up to the knee like my favorites do, but it doesn't sag or shrink up in the wash.
Competitiveness
Twister is a great choice for sockwell compression socks.
I wear this brand exclusively now after having tried many cheaper brands that just didn’t hold up or offer near as much support.
Nice socks but too small compared to other sockwell socks i bought in the same size.
I haven't bought sockwell socks from amazon yet.
