Keep a gallon in the refrigerator to make soda water. Run it under some cold water while it's empty and give it a quick rinse. While this carafe is not glass, i believe this is the next best carafe i could get for my soda sense model.

Clear plastic, not muddled like those older bottles. They look so much nicer than the plastic-accented ones. Very elegant. This one looks classy with the stainless steel accents.

The bottle was just thrown in a box with packaging pillows. It is false plain and simple. I feel that the title of this item is entirely misleading.

Don't own a dishwasher so was only hand washed. The cosmetic improvement of the metal accents seems pretty silly in retrospect. The stainless part of the cap is a cover for a basic plastic grey top which doesn't look good on its on.

The water isn’t well carbonated at all compared to the bottle that came with my sodastream. These are too close to their expiration date. Cans are so much more expensive than 2 liter or liter bottles.
