Pros

This sodastream fizzi is an excellent product that out-paced my expectations. It's very easy to use once you know how though. Easy to tap onto, and easier to temove.

Bought it for my girlfriend and her son. Much more convenient than the electrified versions. And since we live in a place where power-outages are not uncommon, this model is much more convenient.

Make sure the co2 canister is * in but not too tight. Check your local availability of replacement co2 cylinders. I still wish the injector hose was longer.

Cons

It's the messiest thing to use, unless mine is defective. Instructions are not written, just a couple of drawings (pictographs) their website has no support--it just tries to sell you another device. Seems to be defective return sold again as new.

If you hold the button too long, the bottle overflows. The device holds it but there is no airtight seal. You have to remove the back of the dispenser to attach the gas cannister.

Manual button means it's virtually impossible to get a consistent amount of carbonation. Flavors are all completely or partially sweetened with sucralose and they taste like it. I have to fizz it again and use up more of the co2 to make it fizzy again... Read More

The soda stream was easy to figure out straight out of the box i didnt even need the directions.

It's attractive enough to leave out on the counter.
