Pros

The knife itself is great! I have a lot of knives, some that are nicer than the seal pup. It has a front pocket that fits my leatherman wave multi-tool perfectly.

Blade is solid and sharp. Hang in the cobalt. Looks like they hit it with the pull through sharpener. Takes a sharper edge with ease.

The grip is a hard but well checkered frn variety. This probably grips well with a glove.

Seal pup is my go-to work horse. It isn't cumbersome and it won't weigh you down. Got a * deal on a used one from the amazon warehouse.

Cons

The snap that goes around the hilt of the knife is next to impossible to close with 2 hands. The sheath itself has a good design but the snaps are of poor quality. The knife seems fine but the button snap on the sheath that retains the knife was broke... Read More

My current hard case sheath for this knife has been with me for several years and it continues to work perfectly and protect my knife.

The knife overall gets a five star rating, it is perfect in every way stays sharp for very very long time and is very reliable.

I know this is marketed as a combat survival knife, but for me its main function is every day cutting tool.

Still have mine from 2009 when i was in the oif campaign.
