Pros & Cons
Pros
Used in smokey mountains hiking and batoning wood as a tree chopper, wood splitter, and a machete. Good compact tactical tool for the price especially. Good atv/sled knife for clearing small brush obstacles.
No more chewing on the sheath. Fast and easy to field sharpen.
Worked great. Seems this could be easily done at the factory saving the customer the trouble. Great machete. Worked very well.
Sogfari is a great buy. All in all, it's worth the cost. Definitely worth the money. It’s used are endless!
Cons
Easy to bang the metal up and really wanted to like it. Just do not wear it on your hip. The saw back is poorly designed.

Very well made, well, it's a sog!
As someone who's had to clear thick brush with machetes by hand in the 80's & 90's this sogfari is= too short & waaaaaay too light.
Love the blade but it cut right thru the sheath.
Price
The price made it a no brainer.
What a great machete for the money!
