The sog patented arc-loc system allows you to flick out the blade lightning fast and then flick it back into the handle just as quickly and easily. The action is smooth and the locking cam is rock solid.

The thumb studs stand as tall as the scales, so they are easy to use. The blade deploys smoothly and easily.

The blade itself is great, the tanto shape with the serrations is probably the most versatile blade design you can get. Smoothest opening knife that i own, holds an edge very well.

The steal ats-34 blade is extremely strong and razor sharp. It has a sharp point for tight work and another for heavier cutting. Sharpens quickly and stays sharp for a long long time.
