Pros
The solar charger is perfect for what i needed. Gets great sun for 6 hours. Only drawback is it has the battery at 75% instead of 90-something percent. Mine is on a porch that receives sunlight until mid morning 10:30-11am.
Award goes to ring, amazon and link for great customer service! This charger is well worth the cost and time it has saved me. Thank you ring for making this and selling it to me.
Cons
The solar charger is just a bad joke on ring users. It seems like it drains it faster! At times, it seems to slow down the battery from depleting, but it never really charges the camera.

Note if you are putting this somewhere that doesn’t get sunlight for most of the day your experience may be subpar as it will only help maintain the charge of the door bell longer but eventually will need to be taken off to charge

New update after ring customer care contacted us got access to see what was up with the doorbell we need to add an access point because the unit was not getting a good signal from our internet router
