Pros
The ring solar charger is the bomb. Even on cloudy or rainy days. The location of our doorbell allows full access to the sunshine. There is a difference between western sunlight and eastern sunlight.

Cons
Product is great except for 1 major design flaw. Very disappointed.
For some reason it seems to be discharging the battery. These batteries take a painfully long time to recharge, 6+ hours when drained below 25%. The battery is not removable.
This solar charger barely adds longevity to life of the battery. The battery on my shady porch lasts longer than this one. Needs a much bigger solar array.

And putting a solar panel on the front of the house with a cord would look tacky on our house and would not blend in to the brick much less mount anywhere within reach
