Pros & Cons
Pros
Vitamin e, zinc and a small dose of copper helps when i am run down. I’m going thorough the change which can be quite uncomfortable at times. Although i have resisted taking anything i thought i'd give these a whirl to see how i feel.
A bottle contains 30 capsules, which is one month's supply for one person. Presented nicely and great for ladies of a certain age, these are a good value alternative to some offerings in the high street chemists.
Cons
Used the entire bottle but feel no difference whatsoever. Perhaps dosage is too low as it tends to be with many solgar products. Got them for * didn't see a difference.
Highlights
Quality

It contains gelatine from bovine (cows) and thus not suitable for vegetarians & i don't like thus as it might affect the quality.
It has no connection with the more familiar spring flower found in gardens & woods.
Price
Solgar is a recognised quality brand and this is reflected in the price.
One months supply and the cost is not prohibitive.
But if taken regularly the price could add up to.
Packaging/appearance
They are gel capsules and i don't think they are vegetarian because of that gel coating.
Competitiveness
I have been using solgar products since the late 1980s when they became available in my local independent supplement shop.
I have used other solgar supplements as well as this evening primrose and the brand goods are of consistently high quality.
The same hard to swallow, throat invasive, flavourless tablets.
These capsules are not horrendously expensive, but they are considerably more than lesser known brands.
