Price is definitely doable and i feel safe feeding these to my dog under the guidance of his veterinarian cardiologist.
Solgar uses primarily glass bottles or paper packets for their products. Glass is much easier to recycle than plastic. There are no contaminants that leach into the product.
Cons
I’m wondering if this is a fake product. Definitely would not recommend this brand to anyone.

This is the largest bottle i could find of the 500 mg—it’s 250 capsules.
Price
The price is definitely doable and i feel safe feeding these to my dog under the guidance of his veterinarian cardiologist.
Solgar seems to be a good value.

I like that this company, solgar, uses primarily glass bottles or paper packets for their products.
We’ve tried several brands of taurine, none of which the body seemed to absorb or use effectively.
It also seemed better to take multiples of the 500mg dose of the solgar brand vs a 1000mg dose of something else!
Also combined the solgar brand with the now brand.

I take either 4 or 6 pills 2 at a time spread out over the day my last dose is at bedtime

The problem with grain free dog food is it doesnt provide enough taurine for your dog thus the finding of heart problems in some dogs

I break open the capsules and put in my dogs dry food to supplement the taurine they need as they are on grainfree dog food
