If i must have things with me, i have been known to ship them in advance when possible.
Packaging/appearance
Now, with security and all the hassles, i find myself packing a carry on even for 9 day trips, so packing has become an art form.
The pack is as advertised and shown, color and details are exact.
I like that the pack sort of is padded to hold its shape, it makes rifling through to find something easier.
But otherwise, i love the versatility, such as being able to carry it like a pack or briefcase.
Competitiveness
In my opinion, they're one of the best laptop bag designers in the market today.
Your mileage may vary, and it might fit a different brand laptop that's in the 17.

Overall i would recommend it for people that want a large work backpack

Especially since the netting pockets sit further out when the main compartment is empty and i store chargerscalculators in the netting pockets it gives the bag a pretty noticable sloshing

Lastly i wished the velcro laptop securing strip in the laptop compartment had another matching strip so it could secure to itself when i didnt want the latch clasping to the laptop pouch
