The main character takes the typical tact of praying to certain saints and the blessed virgin rather than the man himself but this ecumenical quibble detracts nothing from the overall strength of this epic

I know that some readers might be put off by wrights weaving in christian theology into the story particularly catholic ones but this is never a preachy book wright isnt trying to convert anyone
