Pros

The sonic molded walkie talkies are a hit with my kids. They are super easy to use and have decent audio quality. Perfect for a sonic fan.

Works well especially for being a themed set where you figure the cost is for licensing. Made tough, they've been dropped a couple of times and still work well. They are not flimsy and feel like they will hold up.

Each walkie uses four aaa batteries, which seems like a lot, but at least they can be swapped on the fly. We keep some extra ones on the charger for when it is time to replace. The battery life is longer than expected!
