It is not a rock, but it's not soft - it takes a minute to break it in - like a new baseball glove.
(so the holes don't line up to where you can insert both, you have to tape the spare to the bottom i guess.
Price
Pretty disappointing from that standpoint, especially for a $140 chair.
For $140, we thought this chair would be perfect.
I'm not sure it's worth the price though, especially considering these issues.

There was a little red label on the end but it was scuffed up to where i could just see the word 34down34 along with some chinese writing

I was rereading the ad to see the parts list when i saw the reviews and found out i had to remove that black plastic thing and that one of the thumb screws is a spare

But you could leave it off in my opinion because it serves no real purpose other than eye candy
