It is basically a small formfactor tablet that runs a very minimal firmware.
That is, the wall touching edges of the faceplate extend back beyond even the front of the metal frame that the switch is mounted on.

Very good product for the price, will buy again
So at a glance i can see if my commute is going to be normal, or i need to budget in a few extra minutes.

I was on the fence when they came out but now theres good support in homeassistant i particularly like the blueprint and theyve been discounted by 25 for the last few months so i jumped in and picked two up to try and i think ill get a two more after writing this

I was a tasmota guy until i got these id been watching esphome the last year or two but this got me to jump on the esphome bandwagon and reflash about 15 tasmota devices over to esphome

Dont do this just solder it in and then unsolder when done
