Pros & Cons
Pros
Sonoff multipurpose sensor. Uses a cr2450 3v coin battery (included) it holds the battery in place and the sensor seems to be working ever since.
Sonoff multi-hub system works very well in my garage. Works perfectly with home assistant and sonoff zigbee receiver. Sonoff is king in the diy and privacy market.
The device itself is a great form factor, comes with double sided 3m tape. The switch is also pretty responsive and has a decent amount of travel when engaging it. Seems stable the 2nd time and has been operational for 45 minutes.
Cons
It looks like the pairing instructions are garbled or wrong. This is a deal breaker for me.
Taking the batteries out and replacing them did not bring them back to life. They are just too unreliable. My guess is they are running their soldering process too fast. This happens regardless of how much power is left on the battery.
Highlights
Quality
I use homeassistant on a rpi3b and with the raspbee ii controller to specifically read these sensors, they link right up.
Overall for the price, great value for a sensor if you want to use with ha.
You first have to remove the back of the sensor and pull out the piece of paper to have the battery make contact with the sensor leads.
Let's you potentially have three different functions with the same button.
Price
Was looking at aeotec but the price was pretty steep for one button.
Packaging/appearance
Works great, paired up correctly right out of the box.
Competitiveness
Used with home assistant zha running on a pi 4 with a sonoff zigbee 3.
Wireless button controller:works very well with my hubitat hub.
It reports active and inactive motion to my hubitat hub with a 1 minute delay in between.
The lag feels little longer than the smartthings button.

Perception resolving since all the data is in the smartthings hub amazon or sonoff needs to come up with a skill that is hub based not device based
