Pros & Cons
Pros
Lutron caseta dimmers run on zigbee. Fit into electrical box behind existing switches. Put on a porch light circuit in a two-gang box. This fit in the round box above the fixture without difficulty.
Works exactly as advertised. Works great. Both are widely recommended.
The zbmini-l is a good solution to upgrade a regular switch into a smart switch. The devices also say they work as a zigbee repeater so you might just install some if you have any problems. Great product alternative to the high priced ge zigbees.
Cons
Most routers comes with auto wifi settings and can not discover the device. No emiten wifi y no emparejan. Very disappointed about coverage range.
Highlights
Quality
I really like the zigbee version of this product.
Not a big problem, but a small complaint that i hope they address with the next version of these.
Almost returned this when following the pairing directions enclosed with the device just did not work.
If you turn the light off remotely, then flip the switch to turn the light on the switch might be in the down position with the light on.
Packaging/appearance
Although it claims to work on 20 amp circuits, i broke two of them trying to tuck it and 6, 12awg wires back into the box.
No custom firmware needed they work right out of the box.
Competitiveness
Looking at additional sonoff products as well.
You can wire in a 3-way switch configuration as well.
For the two-in-double-gang i ended up replacing the two switches with a 2-in-1 and it was still difficult.
Shows up as a generic zigbee device.
