Pros

Android tv has a nice selection of apps, and the voice search on the remote is used often for figuring out what streaming services have the movie or tv show we want to watch. Easy to set up. Easily connected dish network and a new roku.

Loved the motion handling of the sony. Researched online the best modern tvs and settled on this one (75-inch) i love this brand they last a long time.

The picture quality is astounding. I was able to get nice colors with a little bit of fiddling with the picture presets. Overall, this this is pretty badass. Viv from tn.

The bravia xr full array led technology ensures that the colors are vibrant and accurate. Local dimming feature almost oled tier lol.

Cons

Set up to control through your phone and link streaming devices is a frustrating process.

Watching football is terrible.

I know sony is a quality name but buyer beware asking them for support. If amazon and tv manufacturers want to sell customers on doing this process, they need to focus on delivering empathy and reassurance to the customer.

Black levels are greyish with noticeable blooming. The backlight is visible. Need to do a lot of tweaking to get any picture or have calibration.

Movies look absolutely amazing and the sound quality is top-notch.

It was bought mainly for gaming (ps5), and it delivers on the quality aspect both in picture and video quality.

Youtube doesn’t always play nice with the os, will go completely silent, have to unplug the tv to get it back.

Maybe if i had a higher quality system (mine is midrange) it would work.

Price

Even without those savings the bravia is worth the extra it may cost.

They replaced it and within 30 days the price had dropped.

Packaging/appearance

What got me is a bunch of the advertised features, like the ps5 stuff, doesn't work if you don't have the tv hooked directly to the ps5.

I was a loyal jvc customer but they are long gone.

I bought a couple samsung’s and they weren’t bad, but they weren’t crisp.
