Pros

The xr full array led screen has excellent brightness and contrast, with the improved xr contrast booster 10. Could be touch brighter. Blooming is not an issue. The blooming is not often noticeable.

The bravia tv is a solid value, an even better value when on sale. I'm somewhat surprised at just how improved this new bravia is over my previous model. Very happy with my purchase.

New sony xr cognitive processor blows away the older x1 ultimate processor. An overthinker at every turn. I love the google os and smart tv interface, it boots fast and runs smoothly, no ads or anything intrusive.

This is an excellent tv, that doesn't disappoint. The performance of this tv for the money is tops. I am assured of great quality.

Cons

It's beyond frustrating that it won't stay connected. Interface slow and freezing after a few years. If you use apps like 98% of america, none of the apps work on this television!

The sony bravia tv is one of the best.

I live 80 mi from the nearest ota broadcasters and it picks up more channels than all my other tvs.

We once tried a less expensive south korean brand a few years ago and it lasted just over a year before dying.

Unlike some other brands like lg and samsung, i found the technical documentation for this set to be quite good.
