The remote has mic for voice search, i only wish it was backlit & had a 30 sec rewind. Smart tv functions * but you'll do fine if you use apple tv anyways.
The sound this tv produces is also really good. The only thing i would ever miss is our sound bar's powerful bass. Skip the expensive sony soundbar your average vizio or samsung with atmos will probably be as good or better.

Cons
Every couple of days, the tv somehow loses connectivity with my wifi. To get it to work i have to unplug the tv and plug it back in. Once it turns itself off (the slider turns off), turning it back on does nothing.
Do not buy this set for gaming. Buyer beware. Sony claims that this tv is “alexa enabled’.

One of the legs that was shipped with the tv was damaged. Sony claimed that it wasn't covered by the warranty even though the warranty clearly states that items damage during manufacturing are covered.
The tv has plenty of problems, which i was not expecting after shelling out $2000 for a tv. What's really irritating is that i know they're only releasing information about the issues with these tvs to technicians.

Absolutely love this tv, the picture quality is amazing.
The picture quality is awesome, with deep black and great contrast!
To be honest, i haven't noticed an improvement in picture quality even though the samsung wasn't a 4k ultra hd tv.
You are better off using an external device like a roku or apple tv, because they are more up to date with the episodes you have watched.
Price
The price seemed right and we wanted to go with sony this time.
The only thing keeps me from getting it is the price.
Yes, the a90j is better, but not enough to justify twice the price.

Competitiveness
I’m new to sony’s tv but wanted to give it a try since i have a ps5 and it don’t regret it a bit!
We upgraded to this 55-inch tv when our 50-inch samsung gave up the ghost after maybe 10 years.
I struggled for a long time trying to decide if i should get a oled or qled tv.
Keep in mind if your streaming low qualitty feeds or slow internet, your picture quality will suffer.
