Pros & Cons
Pros
Shooting uncompressed raw, each image file is about 125 mb. Connecting works all the time, but only if you do things in a particular order. The app is actually really great for a newer app.
The a7riv has a significantly improved af that covers much more of the sensor than the a7riii. The camera has new ergonomics which make the camera easier for me to hold. The sony a7riv is a significant upgrade from the a7riii.
This thing simply performs with an autofocus that truly does so much of the work for you. Eye-af for video allows me to focus on my on-camera performance rather than worrying about if the video is in focus or not.
The level of resolution is amazing. The camera is marvelous. Za lens and this combo is just amazing.

Cons

Price
At the current price point, it is an excellent value.
The increase in resolution comes at the cost of low-light performance.
Competitiveness
The sony a7r4, a successor to the a7r3, is a testament to sony's commitment to pushing the boundaries of mirrorless camera technology.
The a7r4, despite its prowess, falls short in this area compared to my previous camera, the a7r2.
However, the trade-off in low-light performance and the necessity for premium lenses are points to consider.
