Hooked up to an external recorder does solve the issue.

Pastor lets me set up my tripod on the end of the fourth row and i tape the sermon from that angle. The pictures come our really clear and pigmented.

Cons

Sony's commitment to customers is nil. Their customer support leaves much to be desired. Pretty much a bummer.

Sony a6000 instruction manual is useless.

Updating the firmware for the sony a6000 is incredibly difficult. Called sony support and followed their reboot instructions to no avail. It could be the unit is defective but iso 3200 had too much noise.

Quality

Pros:- the image quality is so amazing, when you get it in focus, it is tack sharp.

I would not be afraid to put my photos up against people with cameras costing $5,000 due to the quality of the a6000.

Trouble was, i wanted to purchase it with the sony 18-135 lens and not bother with the 16-50 kit lens.

I shoulda known better and got this where i can inspect the product before purchase.

Price

I came from a dedicated camcorder that cost me $1,000.

Definitely a good buy for the deep discounted price i paid.

The seller was very good at communicating and he also expedited the shipping at no cost to accommodate my time!

Packaging/appearance

The packaging was fully bubble wrapped and safely sealed.

Competitiveness

Before i went mirrorless i used a cropped dslr nikon d5300 for years.

Walked thru a big box store this past spring and looked at a sony a6000.

I am not sure if i would love it if i had paid full retail price cause there is strong competition.

My wife has a t5 and it doesn’t even compete, even with similar lenses despite being a similar price.
