Pros

The z battery more than doubles the battery life compared to other a6xxx series cameras. The added size for the trio makes it feel fantastic in addition to the new z battery. So sweet upgrade from my a6500 that works just fantastic.

This camera is a joy to use. It's one of those cameras that makes me want to go out and do something. Other than that its fantastic.

I'm not a professional photographer, but i wanted a good quality camera to take better pictures without lugging around a bulky dslr full frame. It’s simply incredible the power that i hold in my hands for wildlife photography.

If you are using glass with ois or a gimbal it is definitely a powerful combination. You have to assign it to a custom button and hold it while pressing the shutter button.

I found a simple converter for less than $100 that makes it simple to use this as a 1080p beautiful webcam.

The value of this camera to me outweighs the downsides, as i am not a professional photographer full time.

Yes the brand new a6700 is just released at $1,398.

But if you are primarily a stills photographer, the a6600 is a steal at $998.

The best part of this camera comparing it to my other a6400 i the battery life!

I have a m43 outfit as well which is almost as good.

I found a deal (separately) on the carl zeiss f/4 16-70mm lens and the image quality is staggering on both photo and video.

You are better off buying this base model and buying your own lens because you can get a much better lens for the same price difference.
