Easily put in my backpack for on the move projects/adventures. Ev compensation to get the right brightness in my dark room. Skin smoothing this is a filter that makes the subject's skin look really buttery smooth.
It depends what type of videographer you are, from the perspective of purchasing this camera solely for video use. It works with all my lighting cues and works great with my microphones as well.

The combination of ai, video and still photography is something incredible to behold. The ai is a plus but marginally better than what we already had in terms of autofocus. It's a really enjoyable efficient camera when shooting in manual as well.
The only downside is the intense crop that occurs, but it can't be avoided. Remember the days of using after effects to create tracking points and stabilize the image.

2 gm & i can assure you; the color production coming out of this camera+lens is mind blowing with cine tone & the s709 in-camera overlay.
This camera is over criticized and underrated.

I just which we could change the costum buttons on the touch screen.
The zve1 is an awesome camera and the price $2,200 is not unreasonable at all when considering the tech that it contains!
I do recommend to buy the smallrig case that is 50 bucks for extra grip if you have big hands.
For the price of this little sony zv-e1 no crop shooting any setting unless you turn on the steady-shot is a big win for me.
