Pros & Cons
Pros
E-mount means you have a lot of lens options to create a professional video. Great at documenting anything you're doing as long as you set it on a little tripod, and you can also use the digital stabilization.

The camera is frickin' cute. It is designed for vloggers. As long as you know how to work around the quirks of this camera, you have a camera that could be useful for many years.
Clear image zoom works well on this camera. When you enable it, the zoom rocker works with it. You can run your footage though catalyst browse to get stable footage.
The in camera mic is also pretty impressive. Light too. However this is not a deal breaker as all the pros outweigh the cons.
Cons
Any time there is anything between you and the camera it locks on to the foreground. Uncomfortable to hold with 2 hands. Along with the camera has scratches.

Perfect choice and i'm happy with the purchase.
And the dial is not needed as you can do the same thing with the software.

Competitiveness
Sony zv-e10 has a 24mp aps-c sensor, an e-mount, an adequate grip, and it’s powered by sony’s np-fw50 batteries.
The camera is pretty good im a experianced director and work with tons of cameras.
The video 4k/30fps recording is taken from oversampled 6k.
It has very similar body as the alpha series, but a cheaper price point.
