Pros

Currently the price is the same as the fdr-ax53 - which makes purchasing the ax53 a no brainer. My hands shake a bit, and it smooths it right out.

Cons

If you plan to use this outside beware there is not viewfinder and the screen has an awful glare. The feed unpredictably glitches every few minutes. The glitch lasts a few seconds, and then the stream continues.

Very good camera, the internal gimbal works great for nice steady hand-held and the 4k looks amazing.

Easy to use, hardy and long battery life.

After the 30 day return window closed i started getting “data error” messages right in the middle of recording.

This is a glitch driven piece of garbage.

Price

A good deal became a great deal.

Thinking about long term additional costs vs the slightly greater up front cost for the "platform.

Now it is a $1000 dollar piece of garbage.

Priceless moments i trusted to this camera were lost because it glitched out.
