Pros

The newer ones hook up to your wi-fi, so you just enter your password. Plays everything up to blu-rays (not 4k blu-ray discs though), including sacds.

Cons

This seller is a complete joke. It was used. Lasted 5 weeks. Amazon re-funded money. A pathetic attempt to steal consumer’s money for a very damaged product" - amazon reviewer.

Black screen, tray locked after a few months of use. The only way to reset it is to unplug the unit and plug it back in. Unplugging to try hard resets does nothing.

Major flaw with this player is that you cannot add apps to the default list of apps - which is limited. If you are into streaming i believe that the app needs to be loaded prior to purchasing the dvd player.

Cd’s are 16 bit samples, and uncompressed.

I purchased this in january 2021, and here it is february 2024 and it’s already broken and will not play and of my blu-ray’s or dvds

Price

Purchase the same player two years earlier for $30.

So if you have a need for a blu-ray player, i'd go with this one because it works great for a low price.
