Cons

The player freezes up a lot. We have to unplug the power cable a lot to get it to shut off. Netflix freezes at times and it is right next to my router. Spent hours on the phone and web with netflx and sony, but could not resolve the problem.

I now await sony to call me back and offer whatever settlement they determine. They believe i have no recourse but to tell my story in reviews.

The wifi is sketchy on its best day. It is less than 10 feet from my wireless router in direct line of sight, but it fails to connect half the time and when it does everything lags. Load times, heck even turning the darn thing on takes forever.

This particular model, which replaced an older bricked sony 3d player, is very cheaply constructed. It's small and looks cheap.

Four stars for dvd and blu-ray playback.

Even though it is a blu-ray player i like the fact i can play my regular dvds on it.

Has worked well for more than a year.

I dunno how it works or whether it plays blu-ray discs.
