Pros

This is someone to come back & buy from in the future when the need arises. The recent purchase 990 sony is perfect.

Video transfer is far superior to recording to vhs tape. The microphones aren't stereo but they're really good for an entry level unit.

Like most cameras, there's a thing in the bottom that screws into a tripod.

This is one of the last sony cameras (as far as i'm aware) to have * and an led light. When filming out or indoors there are different program aes you can use when the light in the picture changes.

Product works very well and is doing its job.

I have mine set up to record 2hrs on my hi8 tape and my picture quality is decent, the more light you have the better.

The quality seems more horrible to some people than it really is.

So while sp may (or may not -- i don't know) give you slightly better picture quality, i don't think it's worth sacrificing my tape time.
