It is never if this particular sony model is going to malfunction. It wasn’t covered by any of the typical wrapping protective layer, as for an electronic device. The product was banged and damaged on one of the upper right corner.
I was sorely disappointed after loading 200+ cds into this 300 cd changer. This is just a well-intentioned let the buyer beware warning.
The instructions say to unplug the keyboard and reconnect to reset. Turn off the changer. Unplug the power cord for at least 1 minute. Standby light comes on, hit play it goes off / no power. This happens consistently, every 24 to 48 hours, regardless... Read More

In order to get the best out of the cd player understanding its limitations and setting it up properly is critical

First the player has to be level or it will skip
