I judge the quality of a boombox by how long it lasts with good treatment and so far so good.
My boombox works great but i have lost the cord.
I can lay in bed or relax and control it with the remote.
Even with a few dents it never lost its sound quality and all components continued to work.
Price
This is a terrific boombox and the price is right!
Super sound, great price, lasts years and years.
It was not cheap but the price was reasonable given its multi functioning abilities.

My unit seems only gently used and im enjoying pulling in am and fm stations my last purchase failed to pull in or were blocked by interference from a very powerful local station that oddly enough could be heard at multiple points on the fm band

My only mild complaint would be that the bass boost isnt quite as powerful as id like it to be but at this low price thats a rather picky criticism
