Pros

We are very happy with this purchase and will update this review if anything quits working. This is smart, though. The nfc and bluetooth are fantastic. The remote control is excellent, btw.

Easy to set up and pair with ipod, iphone. The bluetooth is easy to pair. There is a way to keep the clock displayed while the unit is off.

It looks smaller than pictured, but has a great sound for its size. Everyone who visits my house mentions how good this system sounds. No question you want a small jam system, this is it!

The sound is remarkable and has a bass booster for those who want plenty of bass. The eq button just gives you bass and treble adjustment, and those seem to mostly affect the very top and bottom ranges.

The design of the system is timeless and classy. I'm no audiophile by any means but after years of listening to mp3s and streaming services it was very refreshing to load up a good old cd. I love that it recognizes folders on cds and on a flash drive ... Read More

Other than that, the sound is not clear, or articulate.

There's no memory to retrieve. Flashes standby, no way to fix. We now need to mail it to the sony tech support center for them to diagnose the problem.

I live out in the country and am receiving channels i've never received before - you can preset 20 fm stations and 10 am stations.

I was impressed by the dedication of the seller to carefully package the system that is in new condition and works as it should.

It has a cool blue and white light on the underside front of the unit, perfect for reading tracks on cd packages if it's dark.
