Pros & Cons
Pros
Both models are battery-powered, which i prefer for dependability at my work. The rechargeable ones have bluetooth. You can immediately swap out the batteries if it dies (whereas the rechargeable model takes several hours to use again) cre-c10 (replac... Read More
This is an updated review since i have had mine a couple months. Very satisfied overall. Lots of pix online to judge for yourself.
They work, they're a bit of a chore to get started, but the app is extremely helpful. These aren't perfect but look like keepers. Tried these inexpensive sony, they’re great!
These fit in the ear discreetly, are comfortable & stay inside the ear canal better than most. They are discreet. They fit so far and discreetly into your ear…. Also, the sleeves make my ears sweat when i'm outside in the heat.
Cons
Very poor sound quality. Lots of background noise, feedback etc. Rechargeable eargo just doesn't last long. Warranty is only 12 months.
Highlights
Quality
The sound quality is exceptional, they are virtually invisible, and easy to set up using a smartphone.
I enjoy this product very much it is high quality and helps a lot with my hearing a recommend this product to any age person
My previous eargos were rechargeable, but they died at 2 years and the rechargeable batteries can’t be replaced.
Edit: after a few months one failed.
Price
For now, i’m very satisfied with these relatively inexpensive sonys.
There a great price for their quality.
So i had to decide whether to spend $500 on a new battery charger or invest in new hearing aids.
They were less than $1,000 and came with an assortment of sized vented sleeves.
Shipping
Sony sent me a replacement fast so i’m raising to 5 stars for decent service which is rare these days.
I ordered another set from amazon, and they arrived the next day.
Packaging/appearance
This box includes everything he needs such as a case, different sized sleeves, 6 batteries, and care tools.
They batteries come in packs of 6, and the one pack must have been old or bad.
The device comes with the small click sleeve installed and xs, m, & l sleeves included in the box.
They came with a case and batteries.
Competitiveness
These are great hearing aids, and work even better than i expected considering the sony brand.
After trying several other options, i read a ny times review that recommended these and found them much better than other more ... Read More
And they are less than half the cost of the other two brands i’ve used.
In fact these sony cre-c10s have the exact same shell as the signia silks.
