So basically all of the minor flaws that this camera has concerning picture quality are so trivial that most people will never notice them.
Price
I bought it for $399 a few weeks ago and the price has gone down twice.
Definitely recommended, especially at the current amazon price ($270) at the time of this review.

Competitiveness
I ended up choosing sony's dsc-t700 and it is a dream!
Overall, it's a great ultra compact p&s model.
I have a hd 22inch monitor and the photos look great.
I use my t-mobile g1's soft case for the camera instead of the phone.

Hint buy a plastic screen protector for a psp playstation portable and cut it down to fit over the camera touchscreen

Pros 4 gb of memory touch screen looks great pictures come out nice incamera editing is usefulcons reds are a bit oversaturated but you have to look for it to notice itthis camera is so much fun to use
