The lcd screen makes every snapshot look like you're looking at it from an hdtv. Image sizing is easily set to suit your needs. The lcd screen is more durable than i had expected.

It's sturdy, which is a plus for me because i broke the last camera i had. It's great for amateurs and professionals alike. Very satisfied with my purchase.
The dsc-w300 is a very capable camera. I make heavy use of the burst function on my p&s cameras. The burst modes generally perform well but occasionally stutter.

It's amazing that the price is up to $700s.
I would have bought another already, but the price has jumped significantly.

I think the w300 more than holds its own among the top competitors in this class.
In my opinion, there is no competition out there for this camera.
This is a 13mp camera, the picture is bit blur unless i turn the noise reduction feature to its highest level.

Although the v1 can capture good image quality taking shots in low light produces shaky images most of the time
