The memory worked even when i took the cd out & put it back in again.

I am happy i have these because i can put 80 to 100 songs on one cd and for about $15 i bought an electric cord to save on my batteries .
It saved me some big bucks and the service was great.
I think i paid around $40 about 10 years ago for a new one.
To actually charge someone over $349 for this outfit is unspeakable.

Quick shipping good packaging, this is a gift so i can't comment about the player itself but it is a sony so it should be good!
Item arrived pristine and packed well, and better condition than stated!
Competitiveness
My children use this to listen to a foreign language cd course and it's been much better than other cd players we've purchased.
This player was a little more expensive than lesser sony models but well worth it.
After buying another brand mp3 player that broke down in a week, i figured it was back to sony for me.
I think the manufacturers gave up on these portable cd players and decided to produce cheap ones.

I bought this one to replace one that was 34 lost 34 in a move

There seems to be some consternation about the battery compartment being too small as some of the other reviews i have read have mentioned this as an 34 issue 34

The pause button is important so she is able to write while the cd is stopped and then restarted from the same position

Ive been thru a couple of cd players always wishing they had certain features especially a memory of where i stopped my audiobook before i turned it off and a radio
