Pros

Sure beats the heck out of mp3 sound, plus has three tone/ sound settings -- match that, smartphones! Lets me use all mycd's. Am using it every day while hiking. The headphones have a great sound too.

Cons

Bought for my wife,played about 6 cds then it continually skips! The ear plugs are also difficult to set properly in your ear. The ear phones are worthless and it has no hand strape for easy portability.

Display is barely readable. The * on the side are clumsy and not the best. There is virtually no clearance between the surface of the player and the cd.

The battery life is low, with the battery compartment being difficult to access. Try to find some old aiwa portables with the 3 led light, the older ones, not the newer slim ones.
