We are very happy with the quality of this dvd player.
Super quality, sound and picture, also lasting.
5-inch portable dvd player with ipod dock but was unhappy with the quality and returned it.
The picture and sound quality is always great and i'd recommend it to anyone.
Price
I think the prices being asked at this point are a bit too much.
Shipping
1st amazon's turnaround of shipping this order was great, as usual.
Competitiveness
I definitely recommended this portable player to anyone in the market.
I bougth this for my neices, and its been 7 months now.
It looks as if all new models are built cheaply, for kids in the back seat, and i guess sony can't sell good models at a higher price.

If you can find this for under 100 new or barely used that would be worthwhile but 200 is way too much

I never had trouble getting the picture

It now makes a loud scratching noise whenever i try to play a dvd and pretty much wont play anything

The scratching noise was still there for a while but it played the one dvd
