Pros

This compact unit performs as excepted. It can remember where you left off on a number of discs. Other than that, the player performs its purpose.

Worked right out of the box. No complicated setup. Does a great job of up-scaling. Easy to install and use.

Hdmi port is a must for a device like this and it has one. Plug it in, connect a hdmi cable from dvd to tv input. They love watching i love lucy and the andy griffeth show.

Cosmetically perfect, no scratches or dents. Picture is crisp and clear!

Cons

The name sony don't matter it's complete *, even put a nice round scratch in a brand new dvd just spinning and spinning don't by this model. Will think twice before buying sony again.

The dvd's skip and freeze. After 6 months, stopped playing some dvds. Zero quality control on electronics anymore.

The little girl shoes were a hit with her and parents plus price was right!

They were way more basic then this little sony & cost upwards of $1k or more .

Bought as replacement for one bought roughly 20 yrs ago and the price is right
