Pros

Fits the a6000 just fine. Material is softer than the original which is easier on my eye glasses. Best tip is to glue it to the camera using a super glue or something. Great oem replacement to the easily knocked off a6000 cup.

I wish sony would improve the design to prevent easy inadvertently removal. Works great, especially in bright sunlight.

This eyepiece is used on the viewfinder (but not limited to) of the sony nex-7. It fits perfectly to nex 6. Fit my sony rx-1r fda-eva1m electronic viewfinder perfectly.

Cons

Came undone a couple times while out shooting. It has a piece of the eyepiece chipped off right out of the package.

It's more like hard plastic with a rubberized coating.

Extra eye piece in case now comes off in the bag.

Competitiveness

A bit pricey but it is just what i needed to replace the one i lost off my a6000 camera.

Work's as it should and for a sony product reasonably priced.

I bought my new a6300 and read all the reviews on the eye peice falling off.
