Pros & Cons
Pros
For a milky way photography enthusiast, this lens achieves the holy trinity of fast (f1. Works great indoors and in tight spaces to capture more. It is so sharp that in certain cases it gives the overly sharpened in photoshop look.

All sony lenses from the 1635,1224 and the early aps-c 1018 (1527) @ 12mm in ff f/4's had no pincushion.
Price
Cons: price lol, but you definitely get what you pay for with this lens.
Im usually hesitant with lens that cost close to 2 grand but with this lens i did not disappoint or regret.
Competitiveness
My kit til now was just up to the kit lens and the sony 90mm macro (another great lens).
So much better than the rokinon and samyang.
Second, the micro-contrast is not as good as the zeiss in my opinion.
My other wide angle lens is the sony-zeiss 16-35 f4, this f1.
