Pros

This one is a no brainer. Seems liberating. Pets being silly, children’s play, birthdays and pool parties are phenomenal examples of uses for this lens.

Great focal range from wide to short telephoto. Aperture ring is great. This lense is so good and can shoot just about anything!

Nice portraiture, beautiful travel imagery, gorgeous studio work. Beautiful color, the micro-contrast or 3d-ness and the general realism this lens brings.

The accuracy and sharpness are very nice. The continuous focus sensor is extremely efficient. Lens stabilization is useful at the long end and for video.

An imported version to hong kong sells for ~us$1580.

At the time of writing, it sells for us$2300.

Expensive of course, but it's for those who care.

Its very pricey but this is what i do for a living so it will pay itself off.
