Pros

Sub/control unit are of decent size, but still manageable and isn't an eye sore. My living room is 3 sided with one side being open to the rest of the house.

The remote is simple to use and uses infra-red, rather than radio frequency, for communication with the system. This feature is explained on page 34 of the user's manual.

The sound is rich and deep, but the sound from the bar is slightly tinny to me. Aesthetically, the sound bar is very discrete and feels exceptionally well-built. The sound bar itself is a nice compact size and stealthy look.

Cons

No composite or component inputs. Hdmi cable alone does not do the job, you also need the rca connector. Maybe this would work better with a sony bravia hdtv somehow?

It doesn't come close to simulating true dolby surround sound. Specs say this has 100 watts total which is another joke. It is louder than my 6 watt tv but barely.

The sound is muddy. No clarity. The only positive is that the unit looks really sharp.

So instead we bought something that would increase the sound quality without the rear wires.

This sond bar looks great and it sounds great.

All of the blu-ray disks i have played so far have excellent volume.

First i used it on a samsung tv (it died) and then with a sony.

The soundbar features left, right, and center channels.
